How to start Windows 10 in safe or safe mode

The new windows 12 iso is ready to download in the next few months. Today we are going to explain how to start Windows 10 in safe mode, a very useful function to diagnose and fix problems with Windows. It has been around for many years, but with Windows 8 and Windows 10, it has become more difficult to access this mode. While in the old days, the normal way to start Windows in safe mode was to hit the F8 key during boot and then choose it from the menu, today this menu is not always present and Windows boots are too long to give you time. Luckily, safe mode is still there, just more hidden.

How to Boot into Safe Mode On Windows 10 (3 Ways) - YouTube

1. Open Advanced Startup

To open Windows in safe mode you’ll first need to get to Advanced Startup, which is a tool for troubleshooting Windows startup. In fact, if your Windows is having trouble starting up, it will most likely open automatically. If not, you can force it by pressing the shutdown button (1) to bring up the menu and then pressing Shift on the keyboard while clicking Restart (2). That is, you need to hold down the shift key -also known as Shift- and click on Restart: press the mouse button and release it, otherwise the action is not completed. Remember to save all your documents, because Windows will restart. We also hope that the upcoming window 12 iso download will be more successful.

2. Start Windows in safe mode

The Windows Startup Repair Tool is very useful but can be a bit confusing as it uses different terms than what we are used to (for example, it never mentions “Safe Mode”). First, click on the Troubleshoot option. From here Windows suggests you reset the equipment and other functions that may vary from one version to Windows. The one that interests us to open the safe mode is the last one: click on Advanced Options.

Next, you will need to click on Startup Settings. In some versions of Windows, this section does not appear directly in the first window, but you must first click on More advanced options so that it appears on the next page. The name doesn’t say much, startup settings?, but what this option does is reboot the system to show the old menu where you can choose how Windows starts. The available options are those listed in the image, including Safe Mode with or without networking. Press the Restart button. Now You will then be shown a menu similar to this, where you can now choose to start Windows in safe mode. Choose the Safe Mode option if the menu appears. Once in the configuration window, you will have several options. You can completely disable running apps in the background by checking the first box, or you can choose the setting for each app individually for an optimized Windows 10 as well. The list will be more or less long depending on the number of apps you have installed from the Windows Store. Now, all the Windows 10 apps will also be there, even the games that are installed on the system without anyone asking for them. Once you deactivate the background update of an app, you should take into account that that app will no longer be able to send you notifications. Now, every time you start the app manually you will be able to use it normally and thus you will have a faster Windows 10.
